He is a Fellow of the British Commerce Society and of the Royal Geographical Society. He also has to his credit, a number of publications in various national and international professional journals and magazines. He serves on several top committees including Advisory Board to Competition Commission of India, National Committee on Energy, and Core Group on Infrastructure Development of the Confederation of Indian Industries.
Mr. Luthra serves as a chairman and director on the board of Corporate Governance and Audit Committee of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (India) and the Symphony International Holdings Limited - a London Stock Exchange listed company, amongst several others.
