Aged 44 has Founded Milagrow Business and Knowledge Solutions to partner SMEs to become ‘best in class’, in the world. It’s a venture for which ‘nation building’ comes first before anything else. He believes that the small and medium enterprises are the hidden jewels of India which do not need consultancy but an organization which hand holds them to achieve excellence in execution and achieve scale.
In the past he has been associated with spectacular successful Startups and Turnarounds. He played a very important role in building Onida, the biggest success of the 80’s. In the 90’s he built LG from scratch as the biggest MNC success in India and became part of the marketing folklore. Towards the end of the 90s and at the start of this decade he was involved in the most spectacular turnarounds of Philips and Electrolux. He left Reliance Industries recently, where he was President & CEO, of the Consumer Durables Vertical of Reliance Retail.
