Ashok Trivedi
Ashok Trivedi is President and Co-Founder of iGATE Corporation and also the Chairman of IGATE GLOBAL SOLUTIONS LTD. iGATE GLOBAL Headquartered in Bangalore India, is a premier provider of IT and IT enabled services and solutions to its customers globally through its offshore delivery model. iGATE Global is a publicly listed company in India and is traded on the BSE, NSE and Bangalore Stock Exchange. iGATE Global has a strong international presence with 19 offices in 12 countries in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. Eight development centers, including five offshore development centers in India, one each in China, North America and Malaysia power iGATE Global’s global delivery model.
Prior to iGATE, Ashok served as President and Co-Founder of Mastech Corporation, a global provider of high-value information technology services and solutions. Under his leadership, Mastech began it’s operations in 1988 and grew to over $500 Million in revenues by 1999. Mastech won several awards including Business week and was listed four times in Inc. magazine as the fastest-growing company in the U.S.
Ashok recognized the role technology would play in the creation of a "global marketplace." His vision guided the development and execution of Mastech's worldwide strategy - to offer high-value IT consulting skills anywhere in the world, reflecting cultural and economical differences, while adhering to best practices and shared company values. Ashok was instrumental in growing Mastech's international operations by establishing a presence in 15 countries around the world.
Ashok holds a Master's of Business Administration from Ohio University as well as Masters and Bachelors degrees in Physics from Delhi University in India. He has also attended the Owner/President Management Program at the Harvard Business School.
Ashok has received Entrepreneur of the Year honors from Ernst & Young, Inc. magazine, the Pittsburgh Venture Capital Association, the American Society of Engineers of India Origin, the Association of Indians in American, and Robert Morris College.
