Joe Fernandes
Joe joined Total Environment as CEO in July 2006, with the objective of scaling the company, within India (for the real estate construction and development business), and globally (for a number of associated technology based services).
Prior to this, Joe was the Co-founder and Managing Principal of Everest Research Institute (www.everestresearchinstitute.com), where he was responsible for developing it into the premier body for delivering actionable sourcing-related analysis and insight to C-suite management in Buyer and Supplier companies for IT/ITES services.
He also served as the Managing Principal of the India office of Everest Group, where he was responsible for directing business relations and consulting in India. During his tenure at Everest, Joe has advised on more than $5 billion of outsourcing and offshoring transactions spanning North America, Central and South America, Europe, UK, China and India.
Prior to joining Everest, Joe was a consultant with McKinsey and Company in New York and New Delhi, where he had extensive experience in leading high-impact consulting engagements serving clients in the US, India, Canada, and Europe.
Joe started his career as an operations manager, with Eicher, a leading commercial automotive manufacturer in New Delhi.
He has completed his MBA (Finance and Systems emphasis), from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, India; and his Bachelor of Technology, Mechanical Engineering, from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India.
