Ajay Kaul has been the Chief Executive Officer of Jubilant FoodworksLimited since February 7, 2005. In this time frame Dominos India has grown from 80-90 stores to a 515-store chain across 112 cities (as of 30th September, 2012) and employs 18,500 people. India is now Domino's fastest growing market outside the US. Last July, Jubilant FoodWorks was valued at almost the same as Domino's Pizza Inc, which has about 10 times more outlets than in India, at about $1.4 billion. Dominos India is the largest MNC Food Service Brand and also the fastest growing. Ajay has over 23 years’ experience in industries such as financial services, airlines, express distribution and logistics and food retail. He started his career with American Express travel related services. In the six years spread over Kolkata, Chennai and New Delhi; he contributed significantly to credit card sales and marketing. After AMEX, he spent two years with Modiluft as the General Manager - Sales, Marketing and Customer Service and then TNT India as County Director - Sales, Marketing and Customer Service, moving on to serve as the Country Head of TNT Express in Indonesia of three years, before joining Domino's in 2005.
Ajay holds a Bachelor’s degree in Technology from Indian Institute of Technology(IIT), Delhi and a masters’ degree in business administration (MBA) from XLRI, Jamshedpur. His interests include jogging and playing golf.
