Ajay Rajgarhia did his B Com (Hons) from Delhi University alongwith his ICWA and graduated in 1988. He then went on to do his MBA at the Simon School, University of Rochester, NY, USA and majored in Finance which he completed in 1990.
HE came back to India and joined Lazard Creditcapital where he worked for two years, after which he started Axis Cottex Pvt. Ltd., a company engaged in the manufacture and export of readymade garments which he ran till 2007. Seeing the trend changing and business shifting out of India he exited the business.
Since 2007, he has been managing two NBFCs, Rajgarhia Leasing and Financial Services Pvt. Ltd. and APM Finvest Ltd, handling all investment decisions.
An avid photographer, he is also a promoter of www.wonderwall.co.in which started of as India’s first e-commerce enabled website dedicated to art photography which set up its physical space in 2011 in Lado Sarai, Delhi’s Art District.
