Anjali Malhotra Nanda is the Chief Customer, Marketing and Digital Officer for Aviva India. She shoulders the responsibility to chart the consumer and digital landscape for the brand as it re-invents itself into an insure-tech company that is totally customer driven in its propositions and experiences. Previously, she was Executive Vice President, dishtv, a role she held for over 11 years, as she shaped Revenue, Brand and Product strategies in the extremely competitive DTH market. She has also worked with leading brands like Revlon and Times of India, prior. The diversity of her experience traverses BFSI, Media, FMCG, Retail industries in roles across Revenue, Brand & Marketing, Digital, Customer, Product, Analytics, and Innovations. She built the dishtv brand to become Indias most Trusted and Attractive DTH, enjoying 22% share of Indian digital homes, aside from delivering a topline of 2500 cr in 2015, managing retention of over 12 million subscribers. She has successfully launched innovations like VOD, High Definition, Recorder, OTT and driven their adoption with consumers. More recently, conceptualized and launched Indias first Heart Care Policy. She is an evangelist for data analytics & digital tools, successfully deploying them for acquisition and retention strategies for her brands. She has been recognized by the industry as Top Digitalist in 2015, Marketer of the year- Media & Entertainment by IAA in 2012 and for the best use of Technology in Marketing by IBM in 2011. Anjali holds an Executive Certification from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, aside from her Science graduation from Agra University and PGDBA with specialization in marketing from the Board of Technical Education.
