Ankur has over 10 years of experience in evaluating and investing in Asian PE/VC funds and companies. Since 2004, he has been a key member of the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC) in their Asian private equity arm. GIC is one of the largest and most established PE investors in the world. Ankur is currently a Senior Vice President and leads GIC’s efforts around India PE/VC funds and coinvestments alongside, amongst other focus geographies. Over his stint in GIC, he has invested in private equity funds and direct investments in India, Japan, Australia and SE Asia. He also sits on several boards and advisory committees to manage GIC’s investments.
He is an MBA from Duke University and a BTech from IIT Delhi.
