Anuj Bhargava is a Director of Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank in London. He is responsible for coverage of the steel and metals & mining sector and origination and execution of M&A, equity & debt financing transactions in Europe, the Americas & Asia. He was previously a Vice President of Corporate and Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch and Bank of America in London. He completed his Executive Education Programme at Wharton in 2007 and before that an MSc in Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Anuj has extensive international corporate finance experience having worked at several leading financial institutions over the last 11 years. His industry experience spans numerous sectors including natural resources, support services, building products and industrials. His transaction experience covers cross- border M&A and international debt and equity capital markets. Anuj has supported his investment banking clients in an advisory capacity through various phases of their growth. He has advised several new / start up companies, helped analyse their business plans, product and geographic focus, management and governance structures, capital structures and restructuring efforts.
Anuj serves on the India Advisory Group of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in the UK.
