Mr. Arun Kumar is currently the Chief Operating Officer for MENA and Turkey operations of PineBridge Investments, a multi-asset class asset manager with close to $70bn under management. In his current role, Mr. Kumar is focused on building the private equity and investment management platform for PineBridge in the MENA region. Prior to joining PineBridge, Mr. Kumar was the Chief Financial Officer for the Bahrain Sovereign Wealth Fund and held senior positions at the Singapore offices of 3i Investments plc. and JPMorgan Chase Bank.
He holds a B.Com from Madras University (India) and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant. Over a career spanning 20 years in financial services industry, Mr. Kumar has been extensively involved in various aspects of private equity including strategy, fund raising, structuring, financing, and operationalizing/institutionalizing of portfolio companies.
