Ashok Khetan is the Managing Director of Multibis Singapore Pte Ltd. He has worked in Singapore, Africa and India and has been responsible for independently setting up and managing businesses in these geographies. He has travelled to over 80 countries and has business interests in a few of them. He has built an impressive network of business associates and partners across the world. His main focus has been on the Chemicals business, which also includes Printing Inks, Industrial / Consumer Adhesives, Flavours / Fragrances, Agrochemicals and Enzymes. He manages a number of companies in Singapore, South Africa and Nigeria and has overall responsibility for the performance of these companies. He has set up these companies from scratch, and has engineered their profitable growth. The companies today have a multinational staff of more than 200 people. He is well connected with several leading Banks in Singapore, and has earned their respect through his ethical track record and impressive business acumen. He is a natural leader, and is well respected by his staff and business associates. He is a Chemistry graduate and has a post graduate qualification of Master of Management Studies (M.M.S.) from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute in Mumbai. He is the Founder/President of Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies Alumni Association in Singapore, Founder/Member of the Marwari Mitra Mandal in Singapore, Member of Marketing Institute of Singapore, Member of Singapore Institute of Management and a Member of Lions Club of Singapore (Host) for over 20 years.
He is married and has two children. His daughter, Pooja, has done her graduation in Business Management from Wharton School of Business, and is also a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). His son, Alok is a Chemical Engineer from Carnegie Mellon Institute and is currently working as a Consultant with Trinity Consultants, USA.
