Deval Tibrewalla

Deval Tibrewalla is a 5th generation entrepreneur and is currently CEO and Director, Polo Towers Group which currently owns and operates Hotel Polo Towers Group – North East India`s largest hospitality company with 9 operating hotels and 5 more under construction.

Apart from the hotels in Meghalaya, the group owns and operates a hotel each at Jabalpur and Allahabad under the Hotel Polo Max brand and India's only floating hotel i.e. Floatel Hotel in Kolkata. They are currently building further hotels and resorts in Goa, Shillong and Kaziranga. 

A keen runner, Deval is interested in distance running and fitness having recently completed his first half marathon. He also is passionate about cars and driving and has twice successfully completed the Raid de Himalaya, one of the world's highest altitude car rallies that drove through treacherous terrain in the Himalayas. He also designed and built ML05 CAFÉ in Shillong as an homage to cars and Dylans Café as an homage to Bob Dylan his and Shillong`s favourite musician.

 

He has also built Woodstock Café and Farmhouse, an homage to the Woodstock festival of 1969 and the music and the feeling it represented.

 

He graduated as valedictorian of his class from the prestigious Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne, the first hotel school in the world.
