Harsh Hada has traversed a journey of immense growth from being the co-founder of Web Development Company (WDC), to being the Managing Director of Experis, ManpowerGroup for the Asia Pacific region. An alumnus of Don Bosco, Kolkata who later went to Australia to pursue Business Administration from Bond University, Harsh joined his family venture initially to come to a realization that it was not his true calling, eventually giving birth to WDC with friends’ alias business partners, Mr. Rahul Sharma & Mr. Rahul Todi.
Initiated in 1998, as a modest training institute with a seed amount of meager Rs. 20 lac, WDC became a leading e-business and IT workforce solutions provider with offices across India and turnover crossing, USD 50 Million. Credited for introducing the staff augmentation division in 2003, Harsh played a pivotal role in spearheading WDC and taking it to newer heights over the decade.
WDC, was 100% acquired by NYSE listed ManpowerGroup, the world’s leader in innovative workforce solutions company in March, 2013 for a valuation of nearly 200 crores. Post acquisition, Harsh Hada continued working as Managing Director for Experis, (the specialized IT / Professional services vertical of ManpowerGroup) for the APME region till August, 2014.
Harsh Hada is also the co founder of Jai Holdings Pte Ltd (Singapore based entity). Jai Holdings secured the master franchise to develop Baja Fresh Mexican Grill in Singapore in September 2012. Jai Holdings has successfully launched multiple outlets within a very short span in Singapore and has plans to expand footprints to Thailand, Philippines, & Malaysia.
Harsh is a very active member in the Indian Angel Network (IAN) and has funded several ventures through the IAN framework. Some of his investments are in ventures like Inthree, Assured Risk Cover, CalLiberate, Roboticsware, Saahas, Wow Momo and Fresh World, which are all early stage start-ups. Harsh also has several investments in various land banks / real estate projects across India.
Harsh Hada along with his wife founded the Harsh & Payal Hada Foundation in 2011. The foundation today funds the higher education for over 500 aspiring & under privileged students. Many of the students have already completed their education and are now placed in leading corporate houses of India.
