Entrepreneur turned active Angel investor focusing on both Technology (ICT) and Social Entrepreneurship ventures. Invested in companies in the fields of Animation, Mobile applications, Software products, Student Career Services, Medical Analytics, Internet business models, and Rural BPO. Has lead the angel investment round in three of these companies. B.Tech from IIT Kharagpur and MBA from NYU Stern School of Business with passion in social entrepreneurship, started his corporate career with Citigroup as an intrapreneur (created world’s first distributed computing security product), and then started own IT venture SENA Systems focused on Identity Management (IT Security.)
Exited the company after 10 years and have moved to Pune in 2009 after being in the US for 16 years. Since last two years, passionately focused on promoting social entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship in general among the youth of India. One of the lead mentors/angel partners to IIM-A CIIE iAccelerator incubation program and also member of Jury and Investment committee for Economic Times Power of Ideas 2012.
