Manish has more than 25 years of global experience in IT and IT Services industry. He is currently the Corporate CTO in LOral France. In his role, Manish is responsible for provisioning & supporting infrastructure required by global business functions like Research & Innovation, Manufacturing, Digital (E-Commerce), Human Resources, and Travel Retail. Manish started his career as a shrink-wrapped product developer and Line-of-Business application developer. In fact, he was part of the team that shipped the first CASE tool in India. When Manish joined Microsoft Corporation later, he was part of the SQL Server development team. After a few years as a developer, Manish moved to Microsoft Consulting Services in San Francisco, where he solved business problems for enterprise customers, thus providing them business differentiators. As the Principal Consultant, Manish played a significant role in developing Gaps E-commerce solution and Freightliners Dealer network solutions. Gaps online store was built on Microsoft platform. It became the highest per day sales store for Gap. Manish returned to Asia (Singapore) as the Managing Director in UBS. He was in charge of production management for the entire infrastructure needed for Wealth Management and Investment Banking solutions. His team had to work in a highly regulated environment with governmental authorities like MAS while still providing solutions that followed information security and global data privacy guidelines. Before coming to LOral, Manish worked as the Global CIO at Ansys, a Pittsburgh based Simulation Company. In his role, Manish was responsible for Ansys global infrastructure and business applications, including hundreds of cores of processing power. The team-built E-Commerce solutions on the Azure Cloud to take ANSYS from a shrink-wrapped product company to a digitally transformed solutions company. Manish has published many publications in India, USA, and in Singapore, and he has also served on the Board of a few companies. Manish is currently on the board of directors for Adrich Inc. (www.adrich.io) and for BOLD. Additionally, Manish is an Advisor to the San Francisco based VC fund Honeystone. Over the last 10 years, Manish has moonlighted to start two companies from scratch. Both these were in the education space. One of these companies (MyChalkTalk) had a successful exit in India.
