Neeraj is a well-known veteran of Automobile Industry in India. After completing his Mechanical Engineering from NIT (Warangal) and Management degree from NITIE, Mumbai, he had been responsible for successfully establishing the Global car Brands Honda, Nissan and Volkswagen in India through his aggressive leadership style. He has 28 years of experience of Marketing and sales of Automobiles in India and Gulf countries. After returning from Dubai in 1997, Neeraj headed Sales and Marketing department of Honda Siel cars (1997 ~ 2005) wherein he was responsible for building up the strategy for entry of Honda cars in India. He and his team successfully created and implemented complete retail strategy for long term growth of Brand. Neeraj helped Nissan Motors (2005 ~ 2009) in creating their strategy for entry into India with production facility at Chennai, entry of Nissan and Datsun brand, Nissan Renault JV of Commercial Vehicle with Ashok Leyland, and possibility of JV with Bajaj for Ultra Low cost vehicle. He worked at Nissan as Director and Board Member – Marketing and Sales.
Volkswagen engaged Neeraj in 2009 as Board Member and Director. Neeraj could repeat history by strategizing and implementation of Brand entry in India with lots of innovation and great success. He started his next assignment in 2012 with Tata Motors Limited as Vice President (Commercial) for passenger cars for domestic market. He is a certified ‘Corporate Director’ for improving Corporate Governance in line with Companies Act 2013. He is working as a consultant in Automobile industry to enhance enterprise efficiency and customer values.
