P K Sambamoorthy is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant and a Company Secretary with over 30 years of managerial experience in early stage, large and mid-size corporates.
He is currently the Managing partner of Venture Hub (www.venturehub.co.in) , a niche start up advisory firm based out of Bangalore focusing on early stage companies providing strategic financial and business advisory.
Prior to that he was the Cofounder of Collabrant Incubators Private Limited (www.collabrant.in) incorporated in 2004 assisting various early stage and family managed start-up ventures for around 14 years.
Prior to Collabrant, he had worked in senior management position for over 20 years in various companies including Calypso Foods / Essar Steel / Zip Telecom /BPL Mobile. He was the First Employee of BPL Mobile Mumbai and Third Employee of Zip Telecom, Mumbai. Both the Companies were built successfully and sold.
His domain specializations are in the field of Finance, Accounts, Secretarial and legal. He has handled various Joint ventures, Angel/VC/PE fund raising, Debt fund sourcing and M&A in his Corporate Career as CFO/Vice President/Project Finance Head.
He was selected as one of the Final Nominee of the CFO of the year award (by IMA/AMEX) for the year 2003 for mid-size companies, as CFO of Zip Telecom Limited.
He is in the evaluation Panel of IICDC, an initiative by Department of Science and Technology in association with Texas Instruments to identify Innovative Business Plans from Engineering Institutes/Colleges across the Country.
He is a mentor and advisor to few start-up ventures. He is also a member in IP Ventures. He is also a mentor at Faster Capital UAE and a Mentor of Change for Atal Tinkering Labs (A GOI Initiative).
