Mr. Raghav Gupta studied in Dehradun & had done Executive MBA from IIM- Ahmadabad. After graduating, he worked as a partner in M/s. Commercial Engineers & Body Builders Company, Jabalpur. The company is engaged in dealership of Tata Motors & Bajaj Finance Ltd.
His present position is Managing Director of M/s Kailash Vahan Udyog Ltd, since year 2000. The company is engaged in manufacturing of Automotive Bodies and Applications, Roll Forming and Metal Stampings components. The company is established in 1986 & having H.Q. & manufacturing plant at Pune, Maharashtra. After joining, he started to look for opportunities by exploring small start ups. He started manufacturing plants in Bangalore, Chennai & Pantnagar.
For Automotive Applications, Tata Motors, Daimler, Ashok Leyland, Mahindra & Mahindra , Force Motors, L & T , Piaggio, Reliance are the major customers. He has been actively involved in formation of JVC and adding new renowned OEM’s as company customers. It has JV with an Italian company, Rolfo. In these years, KVUL has developed unique knowledge of the solutions in the body building industry, progressively supplying reliable high quality product.
He is also Director in M/s Shivam Motors Pvt. Ltd Bilaspur and JN Group of Companies which is having pan India presence. The group has Tata Motors Ltd, Toyota, Hyundai’s PC, CV dealerships in Northern and Central India and also engaged in manufacturing of Automotive Applications for commercial vehicle industry and a lot of philanthropic activities. He is involved in group’s charitable trust which has promoted community development, providing educational facilities and medical care through various schools, dharamshalas and clinics. Currently, the group runs 4 schools educating over 4000 children on an entirely non-profit basis. He is also a trustee in Prashanti Cancer Care.
He is keenly interested in deploying new industrial manufacturing process, technologies, manufacturing engineering in making automotive components. He steered the company to new heights and on the path of success with multiple growth. He is looking forward to be ready for future activities such as Railway’s components’ manufacturing, Heavy fabrication, Furniture Industries etc.
His is interested in sports like squash, golf and also reading and traveling.
