Raman is Member/Investor at Indian Angel Network (IAN). He is the founder and CEO of Perfsystems, an IT products and services company, offering a wide array of products and solutions, in data security, database performance etc, for enterprise customers in Japan, USA, France, Middle East and Asia Pacific. The company’s co-developed database security and performance products are used by leading enterprise clients worldwide.
Raman had worked for top companies like Oracle, IBM, EMC, Cray Research, AMD, Siemens etc., in Silicon Valley, USA, for more than 16 years. Raman was also associated with worldwide Transaction Processing Council, and worked on many OLTP and Data warehousing benchmarks. Some of his technical presentations and prototypes in the nineties using Clustered and Parallel architectures, are still popularly hailed as industry landmarks and among world’s firsts.
Raman was awarded ‘Speaker award’ at worldwide ICMG Enterprise Architecture Summit,2012, Bangalore.
