Dr. Ravi Chhabra, MD, CHCQM did his Medical School from Christian Medical College, Ludhiana. He moved to the United States in 2005 and subsequently, did his Residency in Internal Medicine from Monmouth Medical Center, St. Barnabas in New Jersey. He is currently American Board Certified in his field and practices medicine in New Jersey and at The Cleveland Clinic, Ohio. He has provided excellent patient care and has been a part of various preventative initiatives like Infection control in multiple inpatient settings all across the United States. Apart from treating patients, he also spends time participating in improving healthcare quality and utilization and has earned board certification in the same. During his medical school years, he achieved distinction in Toxicology and Forensic Medicine, while in his residency days he was nominated to participate in The Doctors Dilemma which was organized by the American College of Physicians; additionally, he has been elected the best Medical resident for three consecutive years. Besides achieving success in Medicine, he has continued to work as a physician entrepreneur for many years. He has been involved in bringing innovative ideas to lower healthcare spending at an institutional level, without compromising patient care. He is currently helping Robert wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey in a similar role (Physician Advisor) and has lowered their patients hospital days by intense planning, counseling and educating physicians and staff members involved with patient care. This has ultimately resulted in lowering healthcare spending, hospital associated morbidity/mortality and improvement in revenue. Recently, he is in the process of developing and marketing a unique software which can help healthcare institutions achieve their financial goals and comply with federal and state regulations. He is highly regarded by his patients, colleagues and co-workers for his hard work, sincerity and humbleness. He obtained Distinction in Toxicology and Forensic Medicine from Punjab University, Chandigarh in 1997. He also has Board certification in Internal Medicine from American Board of Medical Examiners (2009) and in Healthcare Quality and Utilization, ABQAURP (2016) He Participated in Doctors Dilemma organized by American College of Physicians (2009).
