After finishing school from Covent of Jesus & Mary, Ritu Prasad did her Economics Honours at Lady Shriram College and her MBA at Sydenham Institute of Management in Mumbai. After graduation she worked at Ogivly & Mather for 2 years. Following this, she joined IDiscovery, now called Inme at the inception and helped them set up their summer camps in Sitlakhet. Subsequently, she pursued my own ventures. She joined her in-house leather export company in 1996 which had offices in India & Arizona as a partner. In 2001, she started her own restaurant in Connaught Place and successfully ran it from 2001-2014. After switching tracks from the hospitality industry, she started organic farming at our farm in Najafgarh which she has begun to enjoy thoroughly. She is also associated with Chintan,a reputed NGO, and sit on its board. She is passionate about agritech, food & hospitality and environment related sectors.
