Rohan is Director at Star Chemicals, a 70 year old family owned phosphoric derivatives processing and manufacturing firm. He is also a passionate value investor in the listed equities markets. Prior to his current role, he spent 5 years in various finance and consulting roles, most recently as a strategy consultant at KPMG India, where he advised private equity and corporate clients on strategy and transactions commercial due diligence. He had the opportunity to work across sectors as varied as Agribusiness, Media, Logistics and Industrials. Prior to this he was an equity research analyst at ICICI securities and a credit ratings analyst at Crisil. Rohan holds an MSc Finance from the University of Warwick and has completed all 3 levels of the CFA program. In his free time he enjoys running marathons, documentary photography, travelling and reading nonfiction. He has also played an advisory role with several startups and social ventures in the past and is open to doing so going forward should the opportunity arise.
