Rupinder Singh Arora has worn many hats at different times in his Career spanning more than 4 Decades – Student, Founder, Entrepreneur, Pioneer Industrialist, Seed & Angel Investor.
After graduating from Mumbai University – Bcom, LLB, R. S. Arora started his career in International Trading representing Leading International Companies for their Products in India. After introducing several innovative Products successfully in the Indian Market, Mr. Arora launched “Arora Fibres Ltd” a Pet Recycling Industry in 1994 (First in India). This created Public Awareness of Recycling of wastes that are not Bio Degradable and in the following decades Robust and Organized Waste Collection Systems have been set-up with Reliance Group and several other Companies having entered this space. This Industry has contributed significantly in reducing the Pollution in the Country.
Given this Green Experience, Mr. Arora entered the Green Energy Space by putting Wind Turbines. After tasting success in Wind, Mr. Arora soon entered Solar in 2004 when there was no awareness of this opportunity and signed the First PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) with State of Rajasthan.
Over 4 decades in overall Management covering various Industries with significant experience in setting-up new ventures, Corporate Finance, Business Performance, Operations, Mergers and Acquisitions, etc.
