From the time he moved to Dubai a decade and a half ago and took up his first job with Jumbo Electronics, UAE’s leading distributor and retailer for IT and consumer electronics, Javed has been obsessed with cutting edge technology, amazing talent, interesting business opportunities and challenging customers.
Today, he is the Founder Member of Touchtel LLC, a UAE-based trading firm with a global footprint as a leading smartphone supplier. The company has established business operations in the Middle East and GCC, South Africa and West Africa, North and Latin America, AsiaPacific and the Far East.
He also co-founded and is currently Managing Partner at Glo School (www.glo.school), a 24x7 technology-led online tutoring platform for students from kindergarten to 12th grade.
Before moving to Dubai he was a Sales Manager with Ranutrol India based in Bangalore and prior to that he was a Franchise Manager with the UK-based Wigan & Leigh College.
I’ve been an independent angel investor for a while, a member of the IAN, and have invested in start-ups across varied sectors.
I have networked and am well connected in the entrepreneurial eco-system on, both, the sell and the buy side.

My qualifications include a B.A. in Economics and an MBA from Delhi University, India.
