Sunil is a Graduate from the University of Texas at Austin and began his career in Exports in 1987. After playing around with several ideas, he narrowed down his focus onto Leather Apparel. A manufacturing unit was established in 1992; The unit grew to work with some of the worlds best brands including Donna Karen, Ann Taylor, J Crew, Eddie Bauer, Next and many more. Sunil made a successful exit from the Leather Industry in 2002. Since then he has been an Active Angel Investor and has invested in more than 20 companies operating in various sectors like Education, Real Estate, Internet, IT Products, Mobile and several green field projects in the areas of Medical research, logistics, etc. Some of his investments are Innoveda Biological Solutions, M Power Private limited, Kwench, Innovize Tech, Taxspanner.com, Exclusively.in, and Utkarsh.
He sits on the boards on several companies and institutes including Innoveda Biological Solutions, University of Petroleum Studies and Taxpanner.com among others.
