Uday Sodhi is a Partner at Kurate Digital Consulting, a Digital Transformation and Strategy Consulting business he set up in 2020. Prior to that he was EVP and Head Digital at Sony Entertainment Networks India and built and ran SonyLIV - one of the Indias leading OTT Video Entertainment Playforms.
Prior to this Uday was a founding member of HeadHonchos.com and CEO since October 2010 to 2014. HeadHonchos.com is India Leading Online Career Portal for Senior Professionals and has established itself as a leader in the online career management space.
Uday has spent the last 20 years of his 30 year career in the Indian internet business, and has led companies to scale. He brings to the table a deep & insightful understanding of the internet, honed at organizations including Sony, HeadHonchos, Rediff.com, Net4India and Balaji Telefilms.
He has served as CEO of Balaji Telefilms-New Media Business, prior to which he led the subscription, e-commerce & mobile VAS business at Rediff.com, one of India's leading online portals and a NASDAQ listed company. He has also been associated with Net4India, a leading B2B Internet services company listed on the BSE, that he joined at an early stage, going on to become its COO. Prior to jumping onto the Internet bandwagon he had worked with companies like Madura Coats and Bausch and Lomb.
Uday holds a post graduate degree in Marketing from the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.
