Mr. Vikas Agarwal is a third generation entrepreneur and the Founder-Director of Bhoruka Classic Finance Pvt Ltd. BCFPL is a NBFC providing loans to first time users and small fleet operators in urban, suburban and rural areas for the purchase of pre-owned Commercial Vehicles which in turn is deployed to large fleet operators or for Small Businesses.
Vikas belongs to a family who are the pioneers in the Road Transport & Logistics sector in the country. This background makes him well positioned to understand the complexities of the business and customer while drawing on the strengths of the Group especially the readily available Infrastructure which can be used to expand the Business to multi - locations rapidly.
Vikas is also the Promoter- Director of Bhoruka Capital Ltd. which is an NBFC and is active in Investments in financial markets, debt instruments, unlisted entities and Real estate developments. He has also founded a Telecom Company which is into building of Active and Passive Telecom Infrastructure for wireline and wireless Communication.
Overall he brings with him over 20 years of experience in the fields of Textiles, Telecom, Real estate development and Finance & Investments.
He holds Directorships in some listed and in unlisted companies which are in sectors of Finance, Telecom, Logistics, Transport and Technology.
He has been actively investing as an angel investor in early stage companies in sectors like Education, E-commerce, and Logistics and in various IT enabled businesses.
Based out of Mumbai his Primary role is to undertake an analysis of the viability, profitability and future prospects of the growth in viable Businesses and then to build and provide the team, infrastructure and resources required to take the Business forward either as an entrepreneur or as an investor.
He holds a B.Sc degree in Industrial Management with an additional major in Economics from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA.
Vikas is passionate about running and regularly participates in Marathons apart from an assorted interest in travelling, Adventure sports and scuba diving.
