Vinod Keni

Vinod Keni is a serial entrepreneur, active angel investor, mentor, advisor & finance professional.  He has more than 22 years of entrepreneurial, financial management, management consulting and operations experience. He has a track record of success as a serial entrepreneur, C-level executive and management consultant.  He is the Founder/CFO Partner at Peachtree Management Advisors, a CFO Advisory & Operational Consulting company working with early and growth stage companies, family owned enterprises and multinationals.  Through Peachtree Capital Partners, he invests and mentors early stage enterprises in technology, services, healthcare, F&B, media, etc.  He was earlier with Aavishkaar, an impact fund, where he launched their Frontier Fund, and as CFO/Partner, helped raised more than US$100 million for two India-focused funds.  As the founder/CEO of Aquarian Management Services, he advised and mentored several early and growth stage organizations in India, and provided operational, financial and cross-border advisory services to US & European multinationals entering and operating in India. 

Prior to returning to India in 2007, Vinod cofounded and ran a successful KPO/BPO, and was the co-founder & President of another KPO that worked with insurance companies, both of which were successfully scaled, raised institutional capital and subsequently acquired.  He was the founder of the Aquarian CFO Services, an Atlanta, New York & Boston based consulting boutique that provided services to VC/PE funds, early and growth companies, multinationals and restructuring/bankruptcies.  In the US, Vinod has worked with fast growing successful companies as a finance manager & CFO such as Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare, IVF America, HCA, HomeCom Communications, eCredit & HeadHunter. He was part of the founding team at VerticalOne, a successful financial services focused web company that raised venture capital, scaled up very quickly, and was acquired by a large listed entity within 18 months of its founding. 

As the CFO, he led HomeCom Communications, an early pioneer in internet security and banking through institutional equity funding and a successful NASDAQ listing.  He also worked with HeadHunter.NET, now, and helped with their IPO filings and plans.  As CFO, he helped eCredit, now Cortera restructure itself, raise institutional capital and expand

He is passionate about helping entrepreneurs & growing companies and writes regularly as well.  He was one of the co-founders of the Atlanta chapter of TiE, and is a global Charter Member of TiE. He was the cofounder and is now Director Emeritus of the Atlanta CEO HiTech Council.  He has been part of professional organizations including CII, NASSCOM,  EO, IACA, etc.  Vinod has an MBA from JWU & Bentley College.  He has completed the Private Equity & Venture Capital programs at the Indian School of Business.  He is an inactive member of the AICPA.
