Vir is a seasoned business leader and strategist with a wide variety of experience in Pharma, Enterprise Technology, Real Estate, and Alternative Energy over a period of 15 years.
He worked as a Strategy Consultant for IBM, leading critical projects that leveraged cutting edge technology including: Internet of Things, Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence, Smarter Cities, and a wide variety of Enterprise software. He has also advised and helped structure some of the largest infrastructure projects in India, with over $20 billion in investments across Urban Development, Transportation, Clean Tech and other Utilities. He currently leads new business strategy and investments for his family business.
Vir holds an MBA in Strategy & Marketing from INSEAD (France/Singapore), and a BA in Economics and Development Studies from McGill University (Canada).
An active Angel Investor, Vir has backed successful and fast growing startups in various sectors including FinTech, Healthcare, IoT, and SaaS. He enjoys reading science fiction, listening to podcasts and the occasional game of golf.
